Help Support the Ferlez Family Through a Medical Crisis

On May 27th, 2025, my brother-in-law, Bryan, discovered a 1.5" tumor in his brain after experiencing very few symptoms. The next day, he received emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor. After a successful surgery, the wait began for their family.

As anyone who has been in a similar situation knows, the waiting can be terrifying. After three weeks, the biopsy results were received through his patient portal. What followed was a whirlwind of calls and appointments with neurosurgeons and cancer centers in the area, and a diagnosis of aggressive brain cancer.

Bryan is a wonderful, kind human being. He has dedicated his life to science in an effort to make the world a better place. He is a caring and loyal friend and loving husband and father. I do not see him as just my brother-in-law, but a brother, and a friend.

We don't know what is going to happen, but we remain hopeful. Given the difficult road ahead, we started this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the stress.

The money raised will help Bryan and his family to cover transportation to/from medical appointments, medical expenses not covered by insurance, and any necessities they may need during this difficult period. Any contribution helps.
