Dear humanity,

My name is Yasser. I am currently trying my best to protect my family as we survive the most horrific experiences in Gaza. I live with my wife (Rima) and our four children.

Before the violence began, we were blessed with a stable and quiet life. I worked in trade selling children’s clothes and my wife worked as a physics teacher. Just before our lives were destroyed, Rima signed a teaching contract in Kuwait. Unfortunately, we were not able to leave. Rima still dreams of making a difference to the lives of children and being able to teach in Kuwait one day.

My children, Ali (16), Muhammad (15), Yazan (13), and Zeina (8), excelled in their studies and had high ambitions. Ali dreamed of becoming a doctor. Their childhood and their dreams have been snatched away from them but we don’t give up hope.

This journey is long and tiring. From being displaced to the South to live in a tent without any facilities, to returning North to our ruined home as we desperately tried to salvage what was left. Only to be evacuated all over again. We are exhausted. We are hungry. We are thirsty. We have nowhere safe to go.

My children need you. Please donate and share this campaign with others so I can feed my family. We need food, water and shelter to survive. Your support and donations are our lifeline until we are given the chance to work and sustain ourselves again.
