Love & Support For Robyn
On August 22nd, 2017 Robyn began the set up for one of the biggest charity events of the year, Strangers In The Night. During set up, the weather conditions changed quickly with extreme high winds and tons of rain. Regardless of the weather outside, they still tried to work through putting everything together for this great cause. While standing in the middle of the 100ftx200ft tent, the wind became so strong that the tent started to collapse. Robyn tried to escape but unfortunately, was struck in the face by a falling metal support beam. She has since been in ICU with several fractures to the face. On Wednesday August 30th, 2017 she will undergo surgery to reconstruct her upper jaw, both cheeks, forehead and the bones under her right eye. She will be off work for several months recovering from this tragedy. As well, her boyfriend has taken everyday off work to be by her side. Robyn and Chris were also victims of the Rigaud flooding this past spring. They are going through very hard times. Anything we can do to make their lives easier right now would be really appreciated.
