Palestine The Global Movement To Gaza

Part of a global solidarity movement, coordinated in coalition with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and the Sumud Convoy the most coordinated global solidarity actions in recent history. I along with many others am headed to Cairo to join the Global March to Gaza, a historic international effort where thousands of people from over 54 countries will travel to Cairo and walk over 30 miles through the desert to the Rafah border; demanding an end to the siege and to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

This international action involves a 47km peaceful walk over 3 days through the Sinai Desert, from Al Arish to the Rafah border crossing in Egypt.

I’m fundraising to help cover transportation, safety insurance and supplies. Supplies will be left as donations to displaced families. The tents we stay in will be also be donated to displaced families when we depart the region.

This trip is not without risks but we need to show world governments we will not stand by and watch the forced starvation of Palestinians. I have never asked my community for financial support before, but this is different, this is about showing up, in real life, when it matters most.

Every donation, no matter the amount, gets me closer to the border and helps amplify the call to free Gaza.
