Thief left Aaron,we won't leave him

This urgent fundraiser is for my brother, Aaron Burmeister, who lives in Mt. Healthy, OH.  Aaron is a hard-working divorced father of two who shares joint custody of his beautiful children.

Aaron worked his normal third shift at Speedway on Friday, January 15th. As he finished his otherwise uneventful shift on the morning of the 16th, he warmed up his frozen car before heading home. A car thief stole his car and ran over Aaron as he fled the parking lot, leaving him for dead out in the freezing cold.  A customer came along to fuel their car and found Aaron, reporting it to the on-duty clerk and subsequently to 911.

Thank God he is alive, but he has two broken legs. He was taken to Mercy West Hospital where he underwent surgery to repair several broken bones. Aaron has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He will be wheelchair bound for at least a month and will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he will continue to recover from this senseless crime.

Other than the obvious medical expenses he will incur, he will be out of work for several months with no way to support his children and pay his mortgage.

The thief left Aaron in his darkest hour...but we will never leave him.  Please, if you are able, consider a donation to help Aaron through this horrific tragedy and get him back on his feet.

From my entire family, we thank you for your time and consideration.
