Lantz Fund....to help with expenses

PLEASE HELP SUPPORT the Lantz Family as they close out 2015. Many of you know this has been an extremely challenging year for Terri and Doug! The year started off with some serious health issues with Tess, followed by health issues for Doug that recently led to extensive neck surgery. He was expected to be in the hospital for 2-3 days after surgery before heading home to recuperate with some rehab and physical therapy. His hospital stay extended beyond 20 days with many complications! He has temporarily loss use of one of his arms. He continues to have occupational therapy and physical therapy three times a week, but it will be at least 6 months  before he will be able to use him arm again....with an undetermined delay with regard to work or being independent (but we know he will get there :)!!)

To add to this, Terri's brother, Paul, in Texas has suffered a severe stroke last week. He is in ICU and remains on a ventilator for the time being...doctors are trying to get the bleeding on his brain under control. Terri has been unable to go be with him.

If this wasn't enough, yesterday with all the rain and high winds, Terri had to evacuate her family....getting Doug out of the house with Bridget, Tess and Meg and their family dog, Anna and stay in a hotel, as a tree in their yard and another tree in their neighbor's yard presented safety issues for Terri and Doug to stay in their house last night.

Needless to say....the challenges (emotional and financial) have been great this year....more than any one family should have to bear! We would ask that you consider making a donation to alleviate some stress of mounting medical bills, loss of Doug's income, additional expenses for gas etc. to help Terri as she takes care of everyone. It may be nice to donate towards a massage or spa day for Terri too! :) No donation is too small.
