️ For Bam — My Sweet Boy’s Peaceful Transition Home

My heart is absolutely broken as I write this.

Eight years ago, Bam came into my life during my first year of sobriety. He became my steady companion, my emotional anchor, and my teacher in unconditional love. Through the chaos of all of life’s ups and downs, Bam was there. Always.

When I adopted his sister, Storm, he reached his peak of happiness. They’ve been inseparable ever since ~ true soulmates in fur. In recent months, as Bam’s health has declined, Storm has tenderly stepped into the role of caretaker, returning the same love he’s always given her.

On Monday, after an abdominal ultrasound, I received the heartbreaking news that Bam has a large tumor in his stomach due to lymphoma, with enlarged lymph nodes and severe inflammation throughout his digestive tract. He’s slowing down, eating less, and his eyes — those wise, gentle eyes — are telling me he’s ready.

I am now standing at a crossroads no pet parent ever wants to face: the moment of choosing peace for someone you love more than words can express.

I’m asking for help to cover the costs of Bam’s at-home euthanasia and cremation services. The total cost is $1,200, which will allow him to transition peacefully with Storm by his side.
