Hello Friends.   As you may know, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on August 11th of this year.  Through my 3D mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy the diagnosis was confirmed.  The news was shocking as I had been diligent about my mammogram screenings since the age of 35 (family history of cancer).   I thought to myself, why is the happening to me?  I quickly turned into work mode and began scheduling the appropriate appointments including a consultation with the breast surgeon (Northwestern Memorial Hospital), 2nd opinion with top breast surgeon (University of Chicago), 3rd opinion (Mayo Clinic), Genetic Testing, and breast MRI.  I plan to beat this and continue to live a healthy life!
