Stormy's Surgery!
Donation protected
My name is Heather and I am currently a second-year doctoral student in South Florida. Because I am a full-time student I am only allowed to work 20 hours a week and don't have a particularly large support financially from the University beyond tuition and money for food and board. By working I usually have enough money to provide basic veterinarian services for my pets. However one of my pets has recently been diagnosed with a large mass in her intestines. This has been a devastating diagnosis because she is truly part of the family.
Stormy is our 9 year old calico cat that we've had since she was a few weeks old. She's been a best friend through the ups and downs of life. She isn't just a pet, she's like a little sibling.
Below I have posted the x-rays and the bills associated with the cost of the procedure to save her life. Without surgery she's projected to live for maybe another month. With surgery she could have many years ahead of her. There is one large mass located on the intestines that maybe surgically removed without major complications. An estimate shown below includes an itemized breakdown . So far out-of-pocket I have been able to pay for the initial exam when I had concerns about her tenderness and reduced appetite which included x-rays bloodwork and the consultation fees. In addition I took out a line of credit for the follow-up visit regarding a surgical consultation ultrasound and needle biopsy of the mass. However I am at the limits of my Financial means. It would mean the world to me if you would consider donating to Stormy's cause because every little bit counts even if it's only $5 or $10 it's something that will go directly towards giving her a better quality of life and bringing more happiness to a sweet cat.
Help save a little life!

This is the wonderful facility.
