Ezra Herrmann's Fight Against Cancer

Please help Gabbie & Drew as they spend every moment with Ezra during his Leukemia treatments. How ?How do you stay strong for your child when he's in so much pain?When you're holding him and you can feel his body cringe to the touch.When he's shaking and covered in sweat and doesn't understand why.When he's crying and you can see the pain in his eyes and hear it in his voice.When he gets startled every time the hospital room door swings open and he doesn't know if he's going to be poked with a needle, fluids forced down his mouth, here's another IV of chemotherapy, spinal taps, woken up in the middle of the night for a temperature or glucose test.How do you tell him it's all going to be ok when deep in your heart you’re not really sure.He can't tell anyone what's wrong.He can't ask for help.Helpless. Desperate. Exhausted.This is what it's like to watch your only son go through something so horrific that words cannot express.This is why we need prayers.This is why we need all the help and support that we can get.This is why we are Thankful for God and our family and friends who support us.Because without it, this obstacle’s finish line seems that much further out of reach.But that will not stop us from fighting.It will not prevent us from helping our son.We will overcome this, one way or another.We thank each and everyone of you who love and support our son!Drew & Gabbie
