Greetings,
My name is Amiyah Stukes. I am a freshman in the Global Studies and World Languages Academy at Tallwood High School in Va. Beach. I was accepted to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference at the American University in Washington DC. I have chosen to participate in the Medicine & Health Care Program, in which I will be learning about today’s health care challenges and exploring advanced scientific research in areas such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.
NSLC selects students from around the world based on academic excellence and leadership qualities. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I received several awards last year which include: The President’s Education Award, Spanish Student of the Year Award, and English Student of the Year Award.
I am asking for your support in raising $3000.00 for tuition, room and board and program activities. A donation of any amount will greatly help me achieve my goal of attending this program in July of 2018. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers, and financial support.
