Dear Yupps friends and family, As you may know our friend Daniel Vann ,one of the karaoke DJs, has encountered serious medical issues. On Friday July 26th, while working karaoke at Yupps he suffered a major stroke. That night Yupps patrons in true family fashion rushed in and assisted him to a chair and even rushed him to the hospital. Due to the stroke, Danny has lost the feeling on his left side resulting in the inability to walk and the use of his writing hand. While he has made some progress he faces months of rehab and loss of work. At this time it's unclear when he will return to work. As a result, the bills and medical needs are adding up along with the task of needing to move!He currently lives on the second floor which is impossible given his currently inability to walk. He has been able to get out of his lease thankfully due to the American Disability Act. Now the extra cost of movers, deposit on a new first floor apartment, and the first months rent in a new complex compounds the problem! In addition, speciality medical needs such as wheel chair, walkers, and hopefully and adjustable bed don't help matters! Yupps family and friends it's time to do what we do and take care of each other! Our help will for sure reduce his stress and hopefully result in a speedy recovery.
