Funeral expenses for Mom

Martha Almendarez (Ody or Odilia as many of her loved ones knew her as) passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. She had been in pretty good health and good spirits, but Friday, February 19th, 2022 afternoon she suffered terrible chest pains and a trip to the emergency room revealed a large tear in the Aorta of her kind and generous heart. Though her doctors fought hard for her life, she slipped away very quickly, with people who loved her standing by.
All of us are devastated and it is such a cruel burden that her death comes at a time of economic hardship. So I am writing for help with funeral expenses… If you can help, thank you so much, and if you pray, please pray for her sisters, Blanqui, Miriam, Olga, and Alba. For her family in Guatamala whom she loved and supported economically as long as she lived. And for all the people whose lives were touched and made kinder by Ody. She did so much for others, she never bragged about it, we’ll never forget her.
I will miss you mom.
The breakdown for the expenses are as followed:
$2500 for preparations of the remains and transport to Los Angeles from Phoenix Arizona.
$6500 for the receiving funeral home service and casket (to keep the cost lower they said they will provide me with a caskets they offer with imperfections, such as dings or scratches)
$1000 for any unexpected costs.
