I’m a single mom doing my best to keep life steady for my family, but an unexpected setback has knocked us off course. A few days ago, my car—the only vehicle we have for getting to work, school, doctor appointments, and everything in between—broke down without warning. After having it checked, I learned that the repairs are far more serious and expensive than I could have ever anticipated.

As a single parent, every dollar is already stretched thin between rent, childcare, groceries, and the basics. Covering these repair costs on my own just isn’t possible right now, but being without a car means missing work and losing the income we need to stay afloat. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m humbly asking for help.
