We ( Heather Sauerwein and myself) are starting this fund for our beautiful friend Erica Smith, who has recently been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. She is a single mom who is about ready to start the battle of her life with chemo, radiation and surgery. As you can probably imagine, Erica will be missing lots of work. She has spent her life dedicated to her career as a veterinary technician. Finances will be a struggle. We wanted to help alleviate some of her financial burden by starting this fund, so she can focus on healing and not be worried about how she is going to keep the lights on so to speak.
