Tona Valakis, the wife and mother to West End's own Jason and Fallon Valakis was just like any other Loudoun Mom, active in her children's school and athletic activities, balancing full-time work and running a household, when her entire world was turned upside down upon being diagnosed with cervical cancer that had begun to spread to her uterus and lymph nodes. Unable to continue working and wrecked with bills, the Valakis family is hopeful she will win in her fight against cancer, but their financial future is uncertain to say the least.
