This is my beautiful, strong, funny, kind hearted best friend Alicia Nowak. Alicia was in a tragic accident last Wednesday morning Feb. 3rd.  She was snowblowing a driveway when a driver lost control of his SUV and struck Alicia, dragging her 50ft.  She was unresponsive when first responders arrived. They were able to stabilize her enough to transport her to a trauma center where she remains in the ICU.  She has suffered many broken bones along with a few other complications.  She has had a number of surgeries and will have a long road ahead of her but the doctors are optimistic. She has since been responsive and continues to improve. The family and I wish to thank all of you for your kindness, positive energy, well wishes and the enormous amount of prayers you have given thus far.  Please keep sending them her way!  AlaStrong!
