Hi, my name is Rachel Helmick and I am fundraising for Tim and Sarah Thomas. Their son Gunner has been at UVA since Saturday February 3rd. He had started feeling sick earlier in the week and on Saturday he was taken by ambulance to RMH. Once he got there and they assessed him, they realized he was if very rough shape. He was the airlifted to UVA. It took them 5 days to finally figure out what was wrong with him. He has Group A streptococcus and Sepis which is life threatening blood poisoning. Gunner has a very long road ahead of him. Tim and Sarah haven't been able to work and will not be able to for some time. Every penny donated will help them cover medical bills, housing, food, gas, lost wages etc. Please consider helping Gunner and his family. I know they would appreciate it more than you could imagine.
