Surgery Recovery

Hello. My name is Brianna. I am creating this Go Fund Me for my step-father Everett Parsons. Everett was recently diagnosed with Aortoiliac Occlusive Disease, Acute Arterial Occlusion and Coronary Artery Disease. He had extreme pain in his right leg for several months and after many tests he was diagnosed with the above and his artery was so blocked he did not have a pulse in his right foot which made the surgeries urgent. On August 7th he was admitted to MMC. The plan was to go through his stomach and down into both legs and bypass the blocked arteries and insert new artificial arteries. Once they opened his abdomen they found an infection on a mesh from an old hernia surgery. Due to this infection they had to close up his stomach and put him on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Then come back to have the arteries in the legs done.

Everett then returned to MMC on August 23rd for his second surgery. Due to these surgeries and recovery time he will now be out of work even longer than originally expected.

Everett is a great man who works hard for his family and the local community. He has 3 jobs. One of them being for the local Fire Dept for the last 15yrs.

Right now Everett could use all of the love, prayers and support that he can get.
