Hi everyone, my name is Jocelyn, and I’m asking for help for my brother, Michael.

Michael was the victim of a horrible vehicle accident in the Philippines— a crash that shattered his body and changed his life in an instant. He just started a new chapter in his life, finally finding happiness and hope for the future, but all of that was taken away in a moment.

Right now, Michael is in the hospital, fighting for his life. He is on life support, and his injuries are severe, and he will need multiple surgeries to have a chance at recovery. He suffered:

A closed fracture in his right leg, requiring surgery

A fractured collarbone, needing surgery

A fractured in his jaw

Multiple broken ribs on his left side

Severe lung injuries, including internal bleeding and a collapsed lung

A serious injury to his left ear, near the top, which will need surgery to repair

Michael doesn’t deserve this. Our family is heartbroken seeing him like this, helpless and in pain. But we are also determined to fight for him.

The truth is, we can’t do this alone. His surgeries, treatments, medications, and the long rehabilitation ahead are more than we can manage. That’s why we’re turning to you — friends, family, and even strangers with kind hearts — to ask for help.
