Cancer SUCKS and affects everyone!
My mother, Deborah Dickerson (Menard), was diagnosed with a rare form of stage 3 colon cancer right before Christmas, only 3 months after losing my father to a long battle with various health problems. She's worked for 26 years for the local police department, working her way from the basement to a supervisory position in the records department.
She has now had to retire early in order to focus on the battle ahead of her.
My family needs to raise funds to aide in her treatments, as well as travel costs, both here in Las Vegas and in California, as her insurance will not cover the anticipated costs that come with the expected treatments and procedures. As well as to offset the cost of her early retirement.
My mother has spent many years putting the family's needs before her own and my family would like to take every opportunity to help her through this battle in whatever way we can. Anyone who's known anyone with any form of cancer knows that it is scary, uncertain, and a beast of a disease. Please help our family by contributing any amount and /or sharing this campaign.
