Around 2:40pm on Thursday, August 10th. Our Sister (Tabitha Nicole Peters), Niece (Taylor Marie Peters), and Brother in-law (Rex Ray Peters) were involved in a serious head-on collision on McIntosh Rd. Our niece and Brother in-law took on some serious injuries and so did the other driver. Tabi took most of the impact from the oncoming vehicle. We all had to say goodbye to our Big Sister who was also a Mom, Daughter, Wife, Cousin, and Best Friend after only a few short days at the hospital.
We all have been through a lot after just losing our Grandpa, and Taylor's Great Grandpa on July 28th. Nothing can compare to the loss of a Mother. My Brother and I want to be there to soothe Taylor for every road block that she approaches in her life. Knowing the Impossibility of being everywhere when she grows crushes our hearts. So why not something that is cute and fluffy? A puppy, one that Taylor will be able to take everywhere with her. A pup that we can get certified as a emotional support/ therapeutic dog. One that will know to come to her side when pain and tears arrive. One that knows to kiss her face until those tears subside. A furever friend.
Raising a puppy is expensive and Taylor will need assistance with future expences. The first year expences after adopting a puppy is around 1,200 dollars. After that first year it is said to be close to 500 dollars anually. Doing the math, we are hoping to be able to cover expences that Taylor will not have to worry for 6 years. The funeral expences are taking a toll on our parents and my brother and I are still in college, so anything will help! God bless
