It's with great sadness in our hearts to announce that Euar Wanichpan, beloved friend and daughter has been found deceased after an extensive search and missing persons case that lasted 3 weeks.
She had last been seen on July 30 in Saanich and was reported missing to police the next day.
Friends told police she was possibly heading downtown, but hadn’t been heard from since.
On Tuesday, Victoria police and the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit launched a suspicious death investigation after a body was found at SJ Willis school.
Euar was a native of Thailand who moved to Victoria when she was a child. She spent her time on this earth making her friends and family smile, her laughter was contagious and her spirit will not soon be forgotten.
Our community is shattered by the horrifying news of Euar tragic death. Her family has flown to Canada from Thailand to aid in the search for Euar. At this time they request privacy.
We are asking that if you are able, please donate or share this fundraiser.
All money raised will be going directly to Euar's family for funeral costs, astronomical travel costs, and any incidentals that may relieve some of the stress at this terrible time in their lives.
Our community is grieving the loss of an incredible woman. At this time supporting Euar's family monetarily seems like the only possible form of tangible support we can provide. We love and miss you Euar, rest peacefully.
Thank you for reading, sharing and donating.
