Jenna’s Cancer Journey

This GoFundMe page is being started for my dear best friend Jenna, who is battling kidney cancer.

She is about to undergo the removal of one of her kidneys due to the recent diagnosis discovered when she went to the ER for debilitating Kidney stones which she continues to live with until the surgery.

Her friends and family are devastated by her recent diagnosis, yet are all rallying beside her full of hope and positivity for her full recovery.

She is in a great deal of pain and will have to cover the cost of the surgery after the deductible has been applied, as well as cover her living expenses for the 3 months she is recovering post-surgery.

Jenna a dedicated teacher who has given her time and energy to underserved communities for over a decade, and has also successfully rebuilt her life in the past 2 years after surviving her apartment burning down in Boston due to a tragic fire. Jenna has created a beautiful life for herself in New Caney, Texas, where she now resides and teaches 10th grade English, and is hopeful for a full recovery so she can continue doing the work that she loves and creating a new life for herself and 2 Cats full of love and community.
