On October 3, 2025, my 46-year-old baby brother was rushed to the ER with a broken femur. Once in the hospital, we learned that the root cause was a rare form of metastatic lung cancer that had spread and caused the bone to break. He first had to go through an extensive surgery to repair the leg. Once that was healed, he was sent home for PT and then chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

His loving wife Jackie has been by his side since and out of work to care for him and their children. The financial burden is taking a huge toll on them and they are falling behind in the monthly bills. Billy has applied and been denied disability benefits, which does not make sense as he's battling stage 4 lung cancer and can't physically work.
