For those of you that don’t know Pat Davey, owner of Goodtime Music in Streamwood Illinois and founder of the rock band Drop, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in September 2018. Since this devastating news, Pat has received radiation treatments, chemotherapy treatments as well as multiple surgery's to remove the effected tissues in his colon. This form of cancer can be aggressive and as anyone who has experienced any form of cancer treatment could tell you, the after affects are uncomfortable, lingering and life changing. Not to mention extremely costly!
We are starting this GoFundMe because Pat could use our help. Pat is not one to do this for himself. He is a proud and independent business owner whose primary dedication is to the well-being of his family. Being a self-employed business owner, not being able to work is a serious problem. As you can imagine, the bills are piling up in both his business and his personal life. Treatment has been an ongoing process. This means driving to Doctor visits, Hospital stays, follow ups, etc. Although Pat currently has medical coverage, bills have exceeded $25.000 in just one years’ time. His treatments and visits are not done and will be an ongoing threat for years to come. Remember that no work equals no money, no money equals tough to maintain treatment, home, family, and business.
Pat has always been about helping people. He is always offering help to others, but when it comes for him needing help, he doesn’t ask. So, we are asking for help for him. Please help by donating any amount that you can. Let’s allow him to focus on getting healthy and not have to worry about how he is going to pay his next co-pay… and oh yea... F@*K CANCER!
