Hi everyone,
This is very hard for me to write.
For the past several years, I’ve been fighting serious kidney disease and undergoing regular dialysis treatments. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own and continue working despite my health challenges. But recently, my doctor made it clear that I need to stop working and focus fully on my health and preparing for a kidney transplant.
I’ve applied for California State Disability Insurance, but there is a waiting period before payments begin. Right now, I have no income coming in — and that’s honestly scary.
I am deeply worried about how I’m going to cover my rent, car payment, phone bill, and basic groceries this month. The stress of not knowing how I’ll keep a roof over my head while dealing with dialysis treatments has been overwhelming.
I’m asking for help to raise $1,700 to $2,000 to cover these essential expenses and get through this gap until disability benefits start.
I am not asking for long-term support. I just need help getting through this moment so I can focus on my health without the constant fear of losing stability.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount makes a difference. If not, sharing this would mean the world to me.
Thank you for reading this and for any support, prayers, or encouragement. It truly means more than I can say.
With gratitude,
Steven
