Summer Shoguns Dragon Boat Fund

The Summer Shoguns Dragon Boat team was established in 2016. We are a women's team representing the United States Air Force. Our team consists of active duty members and spouses from all branches of service. Our mission is to foster comradery, and to immerse ourselves in the local Okinawan culture; while building relationships, and memories that last a lifetime. This team has come a long way, competing amongst many competitive teams (American and Japanese) that have been around for years, and who are sponsored! We have placed first overall several times this season with no sponsorship and no boat. The one thing the ALL summer competitive rowing teams have is a BOAT to practice in! We have been practicing by either standing in the ocean, or sitting poolside thus far. We have priced a wooden summer boat at $7000-10,000. We would love to have a boat to set a legacy for our team for years to come, as well as to be truly competitive amongst the other women's teams! Please help us!
