Baby Rowan

Hey everyone, we are wanting to raise some money for Morgan, Wade, and baby Rowan!
A little backstory… Morgan had kidney issues that resulted in 2 surgeries at 34 weeks and a 37 week induction due to complications and then had a very difficult labor.
Once Rowan was born he had unexpected breathing complications in his nasal passages. He was intubated and placed on a machine to help assist his breathing. He was brought to the NICU and test were ran there before the decision was made for him to be transported to CHOA at 2 days old.
He is now currently in the NICU at CHOA for further evaluation. The money raised for them they can use towards a hotel if needed, food, any medical bills or bills they may need to pay in the mean time! If you can donate we greatly appreciate, if you can’t donate at the moment we appreciate all the prayers we can get for this new little family!

Wade’s post on 9/9:
Updates on Baby Rowan and Mama Morgan. We are currently waiting to be sent to CHOA due to breathing complications in the nasal passages of Rowan. He is thought to have CHARGE Syndrome which is a genetic issue that affects Heart, Kidneys, Nasal Passages, Hearing, Vision, Growth and potentially Brain. They are running as many tests as they can to rule out some of those. He is currently on a breathing machine, due to the inability to breathe through his nose. The machine isn’t controlling his breathing, but just allowing an airway for his breathing. He is breathing under his own power. He does has some malformation with his ears, but no confirmation on his inner ears which would affect his hearing. They will be looking at his eyes and heart once we get to CHOA tomorrow. He is under heavy monitoring and is in the best care available. We have been able to visit him in the NICU. He is energetic and moving a lot. He has had his first wet and dirty diaper, which is a good sign. We are just waiting for more information to come in and for the call to go to CHOA.

As for Little Bear, she is doing good and recovering at a normal rate. She is feeling a bit nauseous, but that is something that she has been dealing with since she started having the kidney issues. They are currently running some tests and seeing what they are going to do with the stent, kidney stones and nephrostomy tube. Based on what those test we will know whether or not she will be coming with Rowan and myself to CHOA when we go tomorrow. We are lead to believe that she will be able to go with us, but not 100% sure just yet.

I want to brag on her for being the strongest woman I know! She pushed for 3 hours yesterday to deliver the most beautiful miracle I have ever laid eyes on. The woman that made me a husband last year, made me a father yesterday and I am eternally grateful! She and Rowan both are fighters and they will both give it 100% in the days and weeks ahead!

I want to thank all of the medical staff here at Tanner in Carrollton for being the best we could ask for! They all have gone above and beyond to provide for Morgan, Rowan and myself in this difficult time.

I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers in this tough time! We are very tired, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. This is a situation that we did not expect and we are taking it one step at a time. I ask that you guys try to keep the questions to a minimum as we are trying to get answers ourselves. We will keep everyone updated on what the coming days tell us.

We love you all! ❤️❤️❤️,

Wade, Morgan and Rowan
