Beth and Jeff Johnson, their two daughters (11 & 7) and their beloved pets lived at 720 Madrone Way in Paradise, CA.  They were among those that had to quickly evacuate from the town without the ability to return home. Jeff was a licensed optician in Paradise. His workplace and their rented home were amoung the hundreds lost in the fast moving fire. They were unable to obtain renters insurance, and now have absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs and donations quickly gathered by our lovely community to get them through the week. They are assuming their pets (dog, and two cats) are lost as well.


Beth is the daughter of Paulette and Joe Vecchio, Eureka natives.  They have a place to stay here in Eureka for the time being. This will be a long road for them.  Please consider donating  to help them have some security while they get back on their feet and rebuild their lives.
