Amber's Breast Cancer Journey

On behalf of Tyler and Amber Steen's family, we want to help raise funds to support them through their recent breast cancer diagnosis. Oh, how life can change so quickly. On Monday, April 17, we were celebrating the reveal of Steen baby #2 when their 7-month daughter, Sloan, held up pink balloons to let us know a little sister would be arriving in October. On Friday, April 21 they received the diagnosis of invasive ductal carcinoma in her right breast. Quick action was required and she underwent a single mastectomy on Wednesday, April 26. The good news is baby is doing just fine. In true Amber style, she is fighting this like a champ with humor and grit! #iAMstrong

Tyler and Amber have a very positive and confident outlook on this journey. They are young, they are strong and they have faith. They have already felt the love surrounding them through their supportive circle of family and friends. They also feel blessed by the love and prayers radiating through their home community of Grand Forks, ND.

It is our hope this platform will help alleviate some of the financial strain that will occur from the loss of income from Amber's self-employed position as an amazing hairstylist, the medical bills, future treatment, and future birth of baby #2.
