as he grew and his body tried to heal itself, his jaw bone fused and now he cannot open his mouth and it is hard for him to even eat. He recently got X-rays and the vet is recommending that he gets a cat scan and then surgery to fix his jaw.
Update! So I talked to a vet in Longview who also works at WSU. She is talking to a surgeon and they are coming up with a plan for triggers surgery. She said the estimated cost is $5000. Hopefully we can make the appointment for surgery soon!
