My name is Michaela Calabrese. I was born and raised in Agawam (even spent several years involved in Sacred Heart Softball), and now I’m living my dream of studying filmmaking in New York City.
My Graduate program has offered me the chance to direct a twelve-minute short film which will be screened for industry professionals. The only catch is that I have to fundraise the money for the film myself. An endeavor of this size is exciting…but pricey.
I’m reaching out to the public in the hopes that I can raise four thousand dollars by the end of January. This amount will be just enough to get my film off the ground and carry it from concept to execution. No donation is too small, no show of support too insignificant.
