Multiple Sclerosis Treatment
Donation protected
6 years ago, my mother-in-law, Michelle Walsh-Vallejo, was diagnosed with a multitude of illnesses including primary-progressive multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and lupus. When I met her just 4 years ago, Michelle was at the top of her game in the corporate world, and able to perform daily tasks routinely on her own. Within the last 2 years, my family and I have witnessed Michelle’s quick decline both physically and mentally, and her current prognosis predicts her to be completely wheelchair bound within 1-2 years from now, and potentially a loss of lung function in 2-3 years from now. Unfortunately, MS has no known cause or cure, and Michelle has been through many unsuccessful pharmaceutical treatments and procedures that we feel continue to deteriorate her mental capacity, performance, and are the catalyst to her seizures. After participating in many MS community discussion boards, and hearing many testaments from other MS patients, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and it has everything to do with the research on stem cell therapy. Michelle has been afforded the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be treated using umbilical cord stem cells coupled with ozone therapy and we believe this to be our final hope! The cost of such an opportunity is high but we believe the route being taken is the most beneficial and we want our Michelle back! My husband and I have set up this Go Fund Me page in an attempt to alleviate the financial burden this will have on our parents, and we recognize a donation of any kind to be genuinely appreciated and more helpful than you know. Thank you for your time in reading our family's story, and we hope you and yours are well!
