Hi, my name is Matthew Mijares.

On April 4th 2024, my Father Raul Mijares Jr. unfortunately passed away here at home.

He had been battling severe health issues over the past 3 years and was in and out of the hospital more times than I can remember. I did my best to help him be as comfortable as possible and to take care of him as best I could. It was a promise I made to my Mother before her passing back in late 2021 from cancer.

He was a loving Husband, Father, Veteran, Brother, Uncle, friend, who dedicated himself to others. He was the best Father I could have asked for and took care of me whenever I needed him, and in turn I did the same for him until it was time for God to call him home and I know that he and my Mother are together again.

Today I come to ask for assistance in laying him to rest.
