Help Us Get Our Film To The Finish Line!

Hi!

My name is Reva, I am the producer who has taken on this herculean task of fundraising for a 48-hour Film Film challenge undertaken by /Director Steven McCarthy!

Our team consists of our brilliant director, actors, techs (sound, lighting, camera), a composer and the team that supports the shoot, and crew as a whole.

We are all professionals, experienced, and knowledgeable at different stages of our careers, and that makes this team and experience so unique.

What makes this different from all the projects out there?

48-hour Film Project is a challenge that our crew and cast have taken on to create a film that will be produced, shot, edited, coloured, and submitted all within 48 hours starting on Friday, Oct 18th and ends promptly at 7:00 pm on Sunday, Oct 20th - that's the deadline to submit our film!

The entire cast and crew have to move and hustle together to create cinematic art that has value, quality, life, and magic. This challenge is going to be fun, fast, and creatively charged. The short duration of having to get all processes finalized and submitted will drive us to work together.

The company that gives us our prompts - 48-hour Film Project

We will receive the genre, the dialogue, and a location for our film—by the team at the 48-hour Film between 4:30 pm and 5 pm on October 18th.

Essentially, they decide the guiding parameters for the film. However, the content itself is solely our responsibility. 

This means our film needs to have gone through a rough cut, and a once-over and be ready for the final walkthrough at 5 pm on Sunday.

This is also why I have chosen to make the fundraiser live a full 48 hours before we get our prompts, to add that extra bit of fun and push! 

You read that correctly; we are attempting to fundraise and shoot our film in 48 hours back to back.

This right here is your opportunity to also be a part of this creative journey. As most of you may know, funding a film isn't easy. We believe in our skills, energy, and drive and are all pooling our resources together.
