It is with great humility that I write this- I need help and I have no where else to turn.

Hi. My name is Ed Samuel and I need help getting back on my feet.

I have not had it easy the last ten years. I have had seven strokes and I am on disability. I lost about 70% of the use of my left side. I am also left I handed so I lost the ability to write. I'm not complaining, many stroke don't have the ability to speak. That I still can do.i have tried so hard to find a job, but I can't drive and I can't walk without my walker. I can't write. I have been through physical and occupational therapy. I won't improve.

About ten years ago I gave up everything to move in with my parents and take care of them. I did this completely alone. My Mom had severe arthritis and my Dad had Alzheimer's. It was during this time I was diagnosed with a stroke and things changed for me. I was still able to care for them but it was not easy. Dad passed away in April 2013 and Mom in September 2017. There is so much more to this story. I could go on for pages.

As I said, I am facing eviction and I am scared. Once I am on my feet. I will live well within my disability income.
