Our family just moved in June to a brand new home, starting over from scratch.

On Friday, 9/5, we had a house fire that disintegrated our kitchen and covered the rest of our house and everything in it in soot, ash, and smoke. The house is not livable for the foreseeable future.

Myself, my husband, our 2 kids and 2 cats are currently living in a Motel 6 until we figure out where we will live next. We are both out of PTO at work due to 2 upcoming major surgeries in November and December. We literally paid rent on 9/1, which was most of our immediate income, and don't even have a place to call home.
