Never Sweat the Small Stuff…!    Those who know Lucie, know her to be a rock … an even keel … the calm eye within a storm. In short, to those who love and admire her, Lucie represents someone who has the uncanny ability to stay focused on the important things in life, and ‘never sweat the small stuff’! So many wish we had her gift; while folks around her look to her when things get out of hand, there is Lucie, calling it like it is, and steering the crisis toward the straight path to resolution. One thing is for sure, Lucie rarely asks for support in return…

Time to Turn the Tables…             The time has come for us to turn the tables for her, as Lucie braces to battle her recent diagnosis of advanced (stage 4) lung cancer. We are fortunate to live in a time where treatment options can allow the survival of such a diagnosis. Our support is needed to assist with the cost of treatment, as she plans to mount an epic battle against this illness … and to survive!

The Important Things in Life…      Lucie has touched so many lives as a dedicated maternal-fetal medicine sonographer – her colleagues, her patients, and the community we serve – it only feels right to try to give back. More importantly, Lucie has a loving family, husband, grandson, and extended work family, all of whom are counting on her to win this battle, and show us all what a happy and fulfilled retirement looks like – skiing, running, hiking, hanging with her grandson, husband and friends!!
