Help London with her emergency vet costs & care

Hi, My name is Jenny, I am a friend of Madeline’s, who you may know, and if you do, you know her world revolves around her 2 beautiful dogs, London & Dice.

It is with desperation that I am reaching out for help to raise funds for Mads. I have set up this GoFundMe page in the hope to help her dog, London, with her ongoing veterinary care. It breaks my heart to see Mads and Londs go through this, I know too well how difficult this time can be, having your best friend in the emergency vets.

On Sunday night 11th June, the beautiful active 12 year old border collie London, aka Londs, started presenting with lethargic symptoms and not wanting to have dinner. This was out of sorts for her, especially when she refused chicken or treats! Unfortunately, the following days were not great.

London has been Madeline’s absolute rock, her best mate, her heart dog. London is purely what inspired her to work in the animal industry & start her business which offers dogs a better quality and enriching life.

London has been in the care of the emergency vet hospital since Sunday evening receiving critical care. We hope each day to see improvement with her.

Mads’ heart is breaking not having her happy girl home with her & her brother Dice.

I am pleading for your support, every little bit will help her keep London under the care she needs! The cost of living these days is challenging, and I am fully aware that its rough. The vets have been amazing with her care however Mads is absolutely terrified that she is close to financially drowning and not being able to continue to support her at the vets.

Mads would love to take her home, however, she is not well enough to be discharged.

So far, to date, her care is in excess of $5500. Each day to keep her comfortable is approximately an additional $500, not including further tests, treatments or medications. London is still in the care of the vets, as of Thursday 15th June.

Your donation will be used to pay for her vet care costs.

Some of you may recall Mads collecting equipment and doing a drive to help the victims of floods to support their dogs. Mads is usually the one running around helping people, so for her to reach out and ask for help, trust me when I say this is challenging for her to accept any bit of help.

London Update 18/06 - Thank you everyone for your donations, absolutely overwhelmed with your kindness! I am VERY HAPPY to announce that London has checked herself out of the Emergency/Critical vet care this weekend and has gone home with Mads. She will spend some more time recovering at home, but I am pleased and relieved to say that she is showing improvement!
