Meet Ted.
On January 26th, 2020 my friend Kait Hooper traveled home to Canada for what was supposed to be a scheduled 3 week holiday. For the last 5 years, Kait has been living in China, working at a Canadian off shore school. As you can probably guess, Covid-19 has resulted in an extended stay here in Canada.
Ted was rescued in August and adopted in October in Shanghai after being abandoned at a day old. He has been a source of positive energy and companionship for Kait while being away from her family and friends. He has so much energy, loves bananas and belly rubs.
In December 2019, Kait got the phone call that her dad passed away - but she found comfort in having a dog by her side. Fast forward to May 2020, Kait’s world has shifted again as her mom has become quite sick. With no foreseeable return to China in 2020, we want to bring Ted home and need your help.
Due to strict travel restrictions and regulations, Ted requires a pet travel agency to come to Canada. Limited flight routes and the use of these services mean it would cost upwards of 4500 dollars to bring Ted to Canada. Our goal is to raise 4000 of this for Kait to lessen the burden of separation from Ted. Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated!
