*Shine A light for emily.* It was Fourth of July 2017 and Emily is laughing, joking and playing softball with her family. Then in an instant, every thing changes. Sicker then she's ever been, they tell her bronchitis then pneumonia but her condition worsens. A CT scan reveals that she has a large mass in her chest and is immediately life flighted to Primary Children's. They run tests week after week, with specialists flying in to study Emily's rare condition. After 3 weeks she receives the crushing news..... NUT Midline Carcinoma with no telling the stage due to how rare this cancer is (1 in 16 million) and aggressive. Emily is now facing chemo and radiation to shrink the tumor so that Doctors can operate. There is another story here that begs to be told. It is one where thousands of people rally together. They consist of doctors, families, individuals, and angels. It consists of people who know Emily and even those who do not. They are all enlisted in the same cause......to fight this battle with her.
