Hello! Our FRC Team (#4733) won the FRC Canadian Rockies regional competition on Saturday, April 7th, 2018, and have qualified to attend the world championship in Houston, Texas, for the first time!
The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is one that allows high school students to explore STEM related fields in a cooperative team environment that encourages teamwork, leadership, and initiative. It also allows students to consider careers in STEM fields and prepare them for post-secondary institutions.
The competition dates are set for April 18th-21th, and due to FRC regulations, require an initial payment by April 17th, 2018.
Our fundraising budget initially didn't include such a trip, but now that we have been selected to attend the championship, we may not be able to participate due to a lack of funds.
However, your support can change that.
