TIRA’s journey

Hi, my name is Tira Smith. I am from Minneapolis Minnesota, and I was a victim of gun violence on September 4 for males jumped out of a vehicle and demanded me out of my vehicle. One of them reached in and turned off my car. The other one shouted at me telling me to give them the keys as I was putting them behind my back, trying to grab my purse in my phone to ran around to my passenger window and shot me twice. One bullet went into my right leg and came off the top of my leg. The other bullet went into my right side stomach and came out of my left side stomach but it did Pierce my colon and also my appendix I lost my appendix small intestines and part of my colon apart had to be cut out and sewed together for me to still have a cooperating colon. I will now be recovering and out of work for 7 weeks or more not knowing where money is going to come from to feed my children And the grandchildren that I take care of. I am left here to figure it out. My bills are piling up in the meantime as well just because I will not be working. Money that I raise in this go fund me account will help me to feed my family and also pay my bills until I’m back to work Anything will help my family. Thank you so much for your time.
