Dominican Republic Mission Trip

My son Sebi and I are surfers and followers of Jesus from San Clemente, CA. We want to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with the Shoreline Church of San Clemente, where we will teach local kids how to surf, work on a construction project for an orphanage (Niños de la luz), and help give local kids a vacation Bible school. To do so, we need $3140 by March 26th. 

Here's why we want to go. First, God has blessed us tremendously with faith, family, and surf. We want to serve Him by blessing others with the same gifts. Second, I want to build empathy in my son by having him serve people in an underpriviledged country. Finally, I want to record the trip and show it to my elementary school Spanish students. It will be incredibly enriching for them to see the DR from the eyes of a nine-year-old surfer from the OC.
