Hi, my name is Skyler, and this is our sweet kitty, Hope. We’ve had Hope for six wonderful years, and she’s truly part of our family. We always keep up with her vet visits and do everything we can to give her a happy, healthy life.
Unfortunately, this past July, we ran into some unexpected financial hardship and had to use our savings to move into a new apartment. We no longer have any savings left, and now we’re facing an emergency we never saw coming.
Yesterday morning, we woke up to a pool of blood and discovered that Hope had a rectal prolapse. We rushed her to the emergency vet, but they wouldn’t see her without $2,000 up front. Hope needs surgery urgently. We’ve been keeping the exposed tissue clean and lubricated and using a cone to protect her, but this is only temporary. Without surgery, the tissue could die, and we could lose her.
Hope still has so much life ahead of her. She’s playful, loving, and brings us so much comfort every day. It breaks our hearts to see her in pain, knowing it’s something fixable if we can just cover the cost of surgery.
We’re humbly asking for any help you can give—no matter how small—to help save Hope’s life. Even a share means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading and caring.
— Skyler & Hope
