On October 19, I was the victim of a hit-and-run that totaled my vehicle and left me with serious injuries. I’ll be hospitalized for the next few weeks and then take on long-term physical therapy. I’m raising funds to replace my car, cover medical bills, and help while I recover and can’t work for an extended period.

I came to Colorado to handle my late father’s estate, and now I’ll have to hire workers and lawyers to take over while I heal — something I never planned or budgeted for. I’ve always been independent and have managed through past accidents without asking for help, but this time it’s not just about me. I’m trying to finish what my dad started and make sure his family has something lasting.

I have broken ribs, vertebrae, and a fractured pelvis, plus staples in my head and a concussion. I lost my online job a few months ago, and with my current symptoms, finding new work will be difficult for a while.
