Insurance is doing the bare minimum to assist my grandmother who had just received knee surgery while on a set income. She has to save for her own medication and pay for equipment out of pocket, including physical therapy.My grandmother is at risk of falling being by herself me or my sister are the only 2 of our family having to call off work to make sure she is okay.

Due to having to pay for the surgery once again out of pocket, our family is set back and struggling to work and still be able to assist her with basic needs: bathing, being fed, leg elevation, and she cannot bend down.
