Help Biscuit!!

Hey,

If you know me at all, you know that my two dogs Bear and Biscuit are my family. This is taking so much out of me to type as I sit here in the animal er next to Biscuit in the oxygen chamber crate.

This morning, 1/31/24 we made our way down to our neighboorhood park for Bear and Biscuit to go potty before I started my workday. I had released them from the leash in the yard right before the park and Biscuit being Biscuit, made a sharp turn the other way to go sniff. Right as this happened, one of my neighbors came flying down the street and ran Biscuit over. I had to witness this tragedy occur. Biscuit went completely under the front and back tire. The neighbor pulled forward, stopped and got out of the car and asked "Did I do something wrong?" I said "Yes, you just ran over my dog" as Biscuit laid there bleeding and screeching in pain. I scooped her up, got Bear home and called the vet so that they could send her records to the animal er.

Right now Biscuit is stable and has avoided internal damages but she has two broken limbs that will need surgery to fix. I am unsure on the cost and timing as they might want her to rest for a day before the surgery is performed. I was given an estimated range of 2-6K for this surgery.

I appreciate anything and everything that can be given to help her, and just know that again, I am not one to ask for financial help.

I will post updates as I get them, but please keep us in your thoughts over the next couple of hours and days.
