On August 3, 2023, our close friend and Linkforce Rigger, Ryan Pepe, died unexpectedly at the age of 38 after going into cardiac arrest.
This sudden and hugely impactful death has left a hole in many of our hearts, but mostly so for his 11 year old son Jack, and for Ryan's mum and sister who have been left behind to deal with aftermath of such a shocking passing.
Ryan has worked for Linkforce for 3 years and quickly became a valuable part of the team. For those who knew Ryan on-site, he was loved and admired for his workmanship, loyalty and friendship. We are sure his death has, and will, continue to be felt by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
We've started this fundraiser to raise funds to support Ryan's son, Jack so that he can have the future that his Dad was working so hard to provide him. Ryan was the main provider of financial support for Jack, with this responsibility now being taken on by Ryan's mum and sister. We are hoping that by starting this fundraiser we can raise funds to help ease the stress on Ryan's family and give them more time to grieve their loss.
Any money raised will go towards helping Ryan's family continue weekly child support payments, costs associated for child grief counselling and schooling fees as Jack transitions to high-school next year.
We hope Ryan's memory lives on and thank you for your support.
